Particular attention should be paid to the structural strength of the carrier. First of all, we are talking about doors and locks. They must necessarily have reliable fasteners. Otherwise, the cat may get out of the carrier at the most inopportune moment. What this threatens, perhaps, is not worth explaining.

All these requirements will make transporting your pet comfortable and safe. But there are also qualities in the carriers, thanks to which the movement of the cat will be convenient for its owner.

First, the ability to install wheels. If you are walking long distances or your cat is heavy, then you can make it easier for yourself by simply fitting the casters into the appropriate holes on the carrier legs.

Secondly, the presence in the set of containers for food and water, which are attached to the door. The feeder and drinker will come in handy if you leave the apartment for a long time and plan to feed the animal on the road. In this case, the food can be placed in a special container inside the carrier, and you will not have to get the pet out of there.

And finally, there is an additional hole at the top of the carrier. It comes in handy if the cat is worried. You can stick your hand through this hatch and stroke it. This gesture will calm her down.
